These are the details on the various licenses / rights that exist in RDF resources:

Public (public)
The object is publicly available without restrictions (corresponding to ”public domain”). Includes objects where the copyright has expired and information that is excluded from protection.

Unknown (unknown)
The object is of unknown copyright status. This status is automatically set for all objects that are not marked up by the content provider. This means that it is difficult to reuse the information and thus the content provider is recommended to use another markup from the rdf resource. Regarding so-called “Orphan works”’ which can be determined as expired, label as “Unknown”.

All rights reserved (all rights)
The object is protected by copyright and the content provider must be contacted in order to retrieve permissions. This variation complicates the reuse of information.

Creative Commons
In addition, a content provider can use the six Creative Commons licenses where ”2.5 Sweden” is set by default (the default value may change to higher versions later). Read more about Creative Commons at www.creativecommons.org. I you want to use a different version than the default, you can enter the URL to this mediaLicenseUrl and / or itemLicense, for example:

<mediaLicenseUrl> http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ </mediaLicenseUrl>

Public Domain Mark
The Public Domain Mark (read the deeds here) is used for information where the copyright has expired or the information/work is excluded from protection. Is developed by Creative Commons.

NOTE: If you want to mark up your information in any other way, do not hesitate to contact ksamsok [at] raa.se.
